Proposed Bill 1390 – Move Over Act to make it mandatory that cars move from the lane of an emergency response vehicle

Proposed Bill 2281 – Add the Blue color to emergency lights available for Police vehicles to make the lights more uniform and visible at night.

D: Glenn Kearney:  Proposed changes to the bylaws

            Change to make the regional reps to be able to send a proxy vote.  Motion: Bylaws committee to write proposal to be voted on at the next meeting.  Second by Jason Lukasiewicz.  Passed

 

E: Morris Fateliwitz (sp), will seek discounts on merchandise for members on behalf of the Association.  Mike DiPalma deputized Morris Fateliwitz and the committee is now formed and will move off of old business.

A.     Glenn Kearney reviewed proposal for new standards.

12:30 PM – Mike DiPalma motion to pass the proposal to discuss this with the legislation.  Second from Jason Lukasiewicz.  Passed

 

12:31 PM – License plates, minimum 200 plates.  Motion 150 plates to be sold direct to members, 50 additional will be purchased and held by the organization for future.  Second by Mike DiPalma.  Passed

 

12:31PM – Public Service Announcement.  Seeking footage for a PSA.  Any members may submit to the organization.
